
Kokum (Garcinia indica)
Kaolin:
A mud with very rich trace minerals that soothes the skin. It also aids in absorption.
Kojic Acid:
A derivative of the soybean. In skin care it prevents the skin from forming melanin through enzyme blocking.
Kokum Butter (Garcinia indica):
Kokum Butter is one of the hardest vegetable fats at room temperature, and is extracted from the kernel of the Kokum tree, native to India. In skin care Kokum Butter helps heal cracked skin on lips, hands and feet by restoring elasticity and slowing degeneration of skin cells. It is naturally odorless.
KuKui Nut Oil (Aleurites Moluccana):
This oil is high in linoleic and linolenic acids, which are essential fatty acids (EFA’s) vital for the metabolism of healthy skin. In skin care Kukui nut oil is easily absorbed by the skin and is beneficial for all skin types but in particular for dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn and acne. This pure oil provides lipids that are quickly absorbed by the skin slowing water (moisture) loss through the skin. Kukui Nut oil contains Vitamins A, C and E – all anti-oxidants that help create and protect healthy skin. It has been used for skin care and cosmetic purposes by the Hawaiians for thousands of years for dry skin, psoriasis and acne skin care.
