Neem (Azadirachta indica)

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC):
Several studies have shown that cysteine derivatives can protect against the negative effects of UV exposure. In particular, N-acetyl Cysteine (NAC), the biologically active form, is shown to be an effective protector against UV-B induced immuno suppression, to modulate the expression of some oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes, and to increase the amounts of intracelluar glutathione. A non-essential amino acid that functions as an antioxidant and protects the skin and body against radiation and pollution. In skin care it is necessary for skin formation and repair, aids in protein synthesis, and can help slow down the aging process, deactivate free radicals, neutralize toxins. It is found in beta-keratin the main protein in nails, skin as well as hair. It not only is important in collagen production but also assists in skin elasticity and texture. Current research has NAC in the center for measures to combat the aging process.

Neem Extract, Herb, Powder and Oil (Azadirachta indica):
Neem is a tropical evergreen native to India and Burma and growing in southeast Asia and western Africa. It can live up to 200 years. The Neem tree has been used for at least 4000 years in India. Externally in skin care and cosmetic preparations it is used to treat acne, bruise, burns, skin diseases, sprains, reduce dark spots, ulcers and wounds.

Nettle Leaf Extract, Organic (Urtica dioica):
The perennial Nettle plant is native to North America and Europe, and is often considered nothing more than a bothersome weed. However, it is also widely known and respected by herbalists as a potent blood purifier and, when taken internally, helps to clear skin conditions. Applied topically in extract form, Nettle Leaf increases the microcirculation of the skin, and stimulates its metabolism. It is astringent, diuretic and tonic, and contains high amounts of soluble Vitamin C. Added to under eye cosmetic creams; it reduces the appearance of dark circles and wrinkles. It is also used in our hair preparations to aid in stimulating hair growth and improves the condition of the scalp. Large amounts of silicon is in nettles. Due to this, hair quality is improved as is skin conditions.

Neroli, Pure Essential Oil of (Citrus aurantium):
One of the precious essential oils, Neroli has a distinct, yet light and refreshing floral/citrus scent. Its high price makes it an uncommon additive, except in the most expensive perfumes. When inhaled, the scent of Neroli essential oil is an anti-depressant and mild sedative, and has aphrodisiac properties. As an additive in skin care and cosmetic preparations, Neroli’s ability to promote cell regeneration, soothe inflamed and painful skin, and treat stretch marks makes it price worthwhile.

Niaouli , Pure Essential Oil of (Melaleuca quinquenervia viridiflora):
This oil has a sweet, fresh fragrance. Strongly antiseptic, in skin care and cosmetic preparations it is useful for treating acne, boils and skin irritations.
