Yarrow, Pure Essential Oil of (Achillea millefolium):
Rich in Azulene, this deep blue oil is often used for its anti inflammatory and astringent properties to relieve itching and swelling due to insect bites, heal burns, wounds and to treat oily scalp and skin problems. Yarrow pure essential oil is useful in skin care and cosmetic preparations for acne, eczema, and inflammation also to minimize varicose veins and reduce scars. Yarrow Extract is used as a skin care cleanser or wash for eczema, greasy skin, opening the pores of the skin, pimples, poor complexion and prevention of baldness.

Yellow Dock Extract (Rumex crispus):
The active principles in Yellow Dock are the astringent tannins and purgative anthraquinone glucosides based on emodin and chrysophenic acid. The tannins and the antimicrobial properties of the anthraquinones combine to make decotions of the plant useful in scrofulous diseases of the skin, including psoriasis and eczema, and help explain the traditional use of yellow dock in treating skin rashes.

Ylang-Ylang Extra, Pure Essential Oil of (Cananga odorata):
The jasmine-like aroma of Ylang-Ylang makes this oil an irresistible and powerful, aphrodisiac, anti-depressant, and spiritual balancer. It is used in Europe by therapist to treat frigidity in women and impotence in men. In special blends it is used to release sexual energy. In topical skin care and cosmetic preparations, Ylang-Ylang normalizes sebum production for all skin types. All Ylang-Ylang oils are not created equal this oil is from the first distillation and is of the highest quality available.

Yucca Extract (Yucca schidigera):
The saponins from yucca are the main medicinal agents in the plant. They have both a water-soluble and fat-soluble end and therefore act like soap. The authors of a study looking at patients with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis speculate that yucca saponins block release of toxins that inhibit the formation of cartilage. Yucca also is a wonderful natural shampoo.

Zinc Oxide USP
Zinc oxide is a natural mineral, used safely for generations to shield against the harmful effects of the sun. Zinc oxide forms a protective physical barrier over the skin and stops the harmful UV rays, providing the most complete protection. Because it absorbs ultraviolet light, zinc oxide can be used in skin care and cosmetic ointments, creams, and lotions to protect against sunburn. Some ointment-based preparations using zinc oxide are water repellent and stay on even during swimming. Also said to be soothing, softening, healing and anti-bacterial in skin care products.
