This is our suggested plan-guide for adults to successfully use our
acne
skin care products also for normal-combination and oily problem skin
types. If you have not used our acne skin care products before we
suggest you order the sample sizes to determine which you like best,
etc. before investing in the larger sizes. Our products are
concentrated and minimal amounts should be used. Please use this as a
reference to get the most out of your Herbal Luxuries anti-acne
products. We provide links throughout this plan to products in our
online store for ingredients and purchasing details.
The first order of business to clear your skin is to take care of
pimples and blackheads. Once your skin is healing and the pimples are
under control we move on to fading blemishes and minimizing acne
related scars. Diligently following our adult acne regimen for 90-120 days will
get you there. For some it may get worse before it gets better this
will depend on what state your skin is in and not just on the surface
when you begin using our acne skin care products. If you can not
commit to a regimen of 15-20 minutes per day to help your skin our
products will not be effective, consistency is a must.
There are other factors that can derail your acne healing progress so lets
discuss them. We strongly suggest that you not wear any foundation or
cheek color (rouge) during this time. Think about it, rubbing a
chemical based product like makeup into your skin every morning and
having it sit there all day mixing with oils and perspiration can
only lead to more clogged pores, blackheads, pimples, bacteria and
other problems. We want you to be successful but the practice of
wearing makeup will delay any hope for clearing your skin. Even when
your skin is healthy again we suggest the use of a natural mineral
powder (never foundation) to give you some coverage of any perceived
flaws.
Look at your hairstyle, wearing your hair in styles that touch the
face is also not recommended. Be careful when applying hair care and
hair styling products. Keep them away from your skin.
Health, stress, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle are all areas you
should explore and adjust if possible for the health of your skin and
body. The skin is not separate from your total being it just reacts
when we are out of balance. The body is a whole of all its parts
including the skin, good health inside will show outside.
