Re: Cellulite DeTox Products
I ordered, received and have used the detox scrub, oil and gel. Although I have only used them for a week so far, all I can say is "WOW!" The difference is amazing and the spa-like treatment is just that - a treat. I will be reordering very soon. Thank you very much! |

You sent me a sample of Cellulite/Detox oil on an order - now I'm ordering full size. This is better than a similar product from a dept. store line I've used - very cooling after work-outs - Thanks for a great affordable product! |

Cellulite treatments or whatever methods you choose to lessen the appearance of cellulite will require a minimum commitment of 4-6 weeks or longer to see improvements. Remember your skin did not get this way overnight and it will take some time to improve. There really are no lasting quick fixes for cellulite. Improving your skin will require a commitment to some lifestyle changes.
There does not appear to be a cure for cellulite at this time but there are ways to minimize its effect. A low fat balanced diet and a body strengthening exercise program will help burn excess fat and help tone and build muscle. Walking, cycling, swimming, dancing and aerobics are all good for circulation and conditioning. Even if you choose expensive treatments like liposuction, endermologie or mesotherapy you will still have to change your diet, include exercise in your regimen and also possibly other lifestyle changes to see long-term lasting results.
Liposuction is a controversial treatment for cellulite that many say will only make the problem worse by leaving behind flabby skin and could possibly lead to infection and other problems. Plus its expensive and without a change in diet and exercise the condition will quickly return.
Massage and manipulation have also been used to treat cellulite. The key is applying vigorous massage in the direction of blood flow. Cellulite is not removed with this technique but it does appear to improve the dimpled skin appearance as tissue edema is reduced and improved circulation. We suggest seeking a certified massage therapist who is trained in the technique of lymphatic massage. All massage therapist are not qualified to perform this procedure.
Skin kneading, also known as endermologie is a treatment that uses a machine developed in France. It involves rubbing of the skin with an electrically powered hand-held box containing two rollers. The skin is sucked between the rollers and kneaded which is supposed to alter fat distribution in the subcutaneous plane. Each treatment last usually 35-45 minutes and costs $80-100. Initially 12-15 treatments are given followed by monthly maintenance. As with all such treatments this one does not last either and any lasting results require diet, exercise and regular treatments to maintain.
Mesotherapy is a medical cellulite treatment technique developed by a French physician named Michel Pistor in 1952. Simply put, it is the injection of a solution into the mesodermis, or middle skin, to get a desired effect. Previously, it was herbal concoctions that were injected. Today, it is a combination of homeopathic medicine and even different drugs are injected using the mesotherapy technique. At present, there are about 10,000 mesotherapists in France alone. It takes about 4 treatments on average to start seeing some improvements. The same issue applies as does with other treatments for cellulite you must maintain a healthy low fat diet and exercise program to maintain your new look. Mesotherapy is not cheap: Each session costs an average of $500, and 10 to 15 sessions are recommended, for a total price tag similar to liposuction.
In our research of effective herbs and botanicals for combating and treating cellulite we were pleased to find scientific research on several extracts that have been effective improving the appearance of cellulite skin. These are herbal extracts that when used topically and orally have had impressive results improving the appearance of cellulite skin. We included several herbal extracts of this caliber in our new cellulite-detox body care and anti-cellulite treatment products.
