Just For Men - The Healthy Skin Shave
Many of our male customers have talked with us about shaving and how irritating it leaves their skin, they all have quite a few similarities and have found relief and improvement in their skin using a simple regimen we developed for them using our all natural skin care products.
This simple regimen works well on men with curly facial hair who have problems with ingrown hairs, irritation, bumps and blemishes. Being clean shaven is not easy for many men because their skin is delicate, sensitive and often irritated but many feel compelled to continue with the daily shave and the irritation that follows.
The first suggestion to our male customers was to stop shaving everyday and go to an every other day routine to allow their skin a little time to recover between shaves. An automatic shaver is better for the skin than a blade type. If you must use a blade type shaver always use a clean blade and rinse it in some type of antiseptic or alcohol prior to shaving. Find a shaving skin care product with natural soothing healing ingredients that not only aids in giving you a nice close shave but also helps minimize/eliminate any irritation of the skin; look for one that is made for curly facial hair and your skin type.
Cleanse your skin daily with Herbal Luxuries Oat and Apricot Exfoliating Cleanser as it helps to open clogged pores and lift curly facial hair that usually turn into the skin causing irritation and unsightly bumps on the face and neck. Before using the cleanser rinse your face with warm water then pour a small amount of the cleanser in your hands and wash your face including forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and upper neck areas. Rinse well (5-10 times) and pat gently with a clean white face towel. Follow with our Natural Herbal Toner if you have combination or oily skin; choose Soothing Aloe Vera Toner or Cucumber Refreshing Toner for normal to dry skin, apply thoroughly with a 100% cotton ball to all areas mentioned above.
After cleansing and toning on days you don't shave apply two to three drops max of Perfection Clear Skin Fade and Blemishes lotion (oily, normal, combination, blemished skin); choose Rose Ceramide or Wrinkle Raiders facial lotions (dry to normal skin) massage into your skin, paying attention to all the areas we mentioned above, until completely absorbed. On days you shave wait 5-10 minutes before applying Perfection Clear Skin lotion.
Our male clients who use this routine have reported improved skin condition with much less irritation from ingrown hairs, bumps, blemishes, easier shaves and healthier looking skin.
