These are some of the new featured additions to our line of healthy natural skin care. Herbal Luxuries will continue to develop and add to our line so always check back with us to see what's new. All Herbal Luxuries skin care is developed with a passion for making quality natural products for hair, body and skin that are affordable and can deliver healthy benefits to our customers. Our line includes acne and oily skin, anti-aging, aromatherapy, cellulite, eczema, hair care and more.
A synergistic blend of natural and organic herbs, botanicals, nutrients, emollients, antioxidants, pure aromatherapy essential oils and other quality therapeutic grade active ingredients are selectively included in each products formula to produce skin care that is safe and deliver desirable results for our customers.
Herbal Luxuries does no animal testing in producing products and use mainly natural preservatives. We have recently added additional food grade preservatives to some products and these are added at minimal trace amounts. None of the preservatives used are formaldehyde releasers. This is done mainly to protect the products in your home since we have no control over how they are used or stored once they leave our facilities.
Skin care products should not be exposed to sunlight or left open for periods of time. Using fingers to dispense skin care products, allowing water into the products, and storing in a hot area may also introduce bacteria which makes for the additional possibility of contamination. This is true of all skin care products whether they are natural or not. With all the warnings about safety and the dangers of preservatives there is even more danger if adequate protection is not used. Skin care products that contain active ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins and other nutrients should be particularly protected from exposure to sun, water, heat, and not left open. These undesirable exposures can not only lead to possible contamination but to compromising the efficacy of active ingredients rendering them useless in the product.
If consumers want preservative free skin care products they have to be willing to change how the products are cared for and stored once they are in the home. All the sites on the internet that warn about preservatives do nothing to tell consumers how to properly care for and use skin care products safely or the dangers involved in improper use and storage. If you have had products in your bathroom for longer than 6-9 months, throw them out, chances are pretty good you are not going to use them and it will give you more space to store other important personal items or just free up the clutter. |
